Revival Shawl is a triangle shawl knit from side to side. This large and dramatic shawl is knit in a lofty bulky yarn so it’s big on impact, but not on heft. Revival Shawl was inspired by my love of all things bohemian and my desire for a large shawl that can be worn and styled like a poncho or cardigan. Whether you are sitting around a bonfire, looking for the perfect travel accessory, or out for a night on the town – this shawl does it all!
Revival Shawl was knit in Gepard Puno, which I purchased at Forever Yarn (LYS). Puno is a “blown” chain style Bulky weight yarn, thus making the fabric of the shawl incredibly lightweight. Because of this I would also recommend using a blown yarn if possible. Other blown chain style yarns I think will work are: Knit Picks Wonderfluff, DROPS Wish, CaMaRose Snefnug, and Woolfolk Luft.
Revival Shawl pattern is available for purchase on both Ravelry and Payhip.
