My journey with Wanderlust Tank continues, and this time, I was inspired by Queen City Coleman yarn! Queen City Coleman is a DK weight yarn composed of 65% silk and 35% linen. This blend creates a fabric with an exquisite drape and an incredibly soft texture, making it ideal for summer garments. The moment I felt and saw this yarn, I knew it would be perfect for my next Wanderlust Tank!
I chose the color Maple, a rich, camel shade that exudes sophistication. I have always loved the color camel for its versatility and this particular shade did not disappoint! Maple added a refined, timeless quality to the tank, making it a standout piece in my wardrobe.
Working with Coleman was an absolute pleasure! The silk provided a lustrous finish, while the linen contributed to the yarn’s lightweight and breathable quality. The combination of these fibers resulted in a fabric that has incredible drape. I am absolutely in love with how this third Wanderlust Tank turned out! The sophisticated camel color, the luxurious drape, and the soft, lightweight fabric make it a perfect addition to my summer knit wardrobe. I definitely plan to use Queen City Coleman yarn again in future projects!
When I went to purchase Queen City Coleman, I initially found it sold out on their website. Fortunately, I was able to purchase it through their online stockist, Oak City Fibers. Since then, the yarn has been restocked, and you can now shop for Coleman at either Oak City Fibers or Queen City’s website. If you’re looking to knit a Wanderlust Tank, Queen City has put together kits which are available on their website! I know that you’ll be delighted with the beautiful drape and softness of this yarn!
Wanderlust Tank pattern is available for purchase on both Ravelry and Payhip.
