Winter storm Gail (btw when did we start naming winter storms????) rolled through on Wednesday & Thursday and graced us with about 7” inches of snow in the city! It’s the first real snowfall we’ve had in several years & I am so excited about it! When it comes to snow I want a lot or nothing at all. We finally were able to get out and enjoy it today with a lovely walk through the snow covered park! It’s so magical and beautiful when all the trees are covered in snow! I’m hoping the snow sticks around for a bit because it’s just so pretty!

Boots:
I’ve had this pair for at least 5 years and they still look brand new! They are waterproof and so warm! I love them and they are great for snow/slush because you can just walk through it and your feet never get wet!
Shacket:
I LOVE myself a shacket-a shirt-jacket! I’ve had several over the years but this year seems to be the year of the shacket as they are EVERYWHERE this season. Generally they are meant to resemble a plaid shirt but are heftier and sometimes lined like a coat. I prefer the lined styles as they are warmer and therefore I get more use out of them. Unfortunately this one is sold out, but I’ve rounded some that are similar! Found here & here.

Gloves:
These are by far my favorite pair of gloves I own. I’ve had them for years & they are still my favorite! They’re nothing fancy, but I love that you have the option of fingerless or mittens. Pretty much my entire family has them and we all love them. Found here.
