I love versatile sweaters especially when they work with items that are already in my closet. I paired my Sweater No. 11 with a camel colored leather pencil skirt and booties for a more dressed up look. Even if I’m only getting dressed for dinner at home it does feel good to lose the leggings or sweats and meet my hubby in the dining room wearing our “Sunday best”.
Pattern Modifications:
One of the last in person knitting events I attended I saw a sample knit sweater that had this super cute purl ridge down the back. It took what was a basic sweater and elevated it. I decided to incorporate that design element into this pattern. I chose to make mine 5 sts wide.
CO 31 sts as per pattern center 5 sts become the purl sts.
Continue purling these center 5 sts while following all instructions from the pattern. Once you reach the hem of the sweater you will then do the 1×1 rib
Bottom ribbing is a 1×1 rib 3”
Sleeve ribbing is a 1×1 rib for 31 rows which is 5”
Tubular Bind off everywhere
For the neck I picked up sts per pattern knit for 3” and then did a fold over seamed collar.

Earrings:
This pair has been on repeat lately because they go with everything. They’re great to wear with masks because they don’t get caught in the straps when you’re taking it on and off. They can be found here.
Cheers!
