Sweater No. 11

I love oversized sweaters. Nothing is cozier. They transition perfectly from day to night just by changing your accessories. This is certainly one I will be wearing constantly! The color is perfect for year round wear and I hope to one day wear it on the beach on those cool summer nights. I can’t recommend knitting this one enough. Love the details on this one especially the beautiful shoulder seam. I categorize this as a must knit!

Pattern Modifications:

One of the last in person knitting events I attended I saw a sample knit sweater that had this super cute purl ridge down the back. It took what was a basic sweater and elevated it. I decided to incorporate that design element into this pattern. I chose to make mine 5 sts wide.
CO 31 sts as per pattern center 5 sts become the purl sts.
Continue purling these center 5 sts while following all instructions from the pattern. Once you reach the hem of the sweater you will then do the 1×1 rib
Bottom ribbing is a 1×1 rib 3”
Sleeve ribbing is a 1×1 rib for 31 rows which is 5”
Tubular Bind off everywhere
For the neck I picked up sts per pattern knit for 3” and then did a fold over seamed collar.

Super stretchy and so comfy! They’re also under $40! I found them to run TTS. Found here.

Sneakers:

These are last season’s version which are sold out but the current season can be found here.
Looking for a dupe? Try these or these or even these. They’re great options that will give you the same look for less!

Earrings:

This pair has been on repeat lately because they go with everything. They’re great to wear with masks because they don’t get caught in the straps when you’re taking it on and off. They can be found here.
