This is another case of falling madly in love with the pattern as soon as it was released. I couldn’t wait to cast on! I went to my stash to see what would work but I only had mid to dark tones. I was worried the incredible details of this sweater would be lost but I love how it turned out. This sweater is all about texture and details. Such an amazing design! It actually knit up faster than I thought it would considering this was not tv knitting for me. I had to keep the pattern right next to me so that I could follow along. The pattern was very well written and detailed. I really enjoyed knitting it because it is very engaging. I wouldn’t hesitate knitting it again.
Pattern Modifications:
The only modification I made was I knit the body length to 12”. It’s perfectly cropped and boxy.
Tip:
I strongly suggest following the pattern notes of highlighting in colors to match your markers for different sections. There is a lot of detail in this sweater and making sure your markers match your highlighter sections is crucial to making it easy to follow along.

Old but these ones are almost exactly the same.
I found alternatives here.
