One thing I love about knitting is that what you knit never goes out of style. Year after year the designs are still relevant. Sure you might have to change how you style it, but that’s the fun of fashion! Take my Bonfire cardigan which I knit way back in 2017! To this day it is one of my most worn knit pieces. This oversized slouchy cardigan is so versatile. I love the longer length of it as its flattering to wear with leggings, jeans, skirts, or dresses! Its longer in the back than in the front making it perfect to pair with leggings because it covers your bum! Because of the versatility its generally the one piece I would always pack in my suitcase. (Remember traveling? Hopefully this year we will be able to once more! Keeping my fingers and toes crossed!) I also love to throw it on for those chilly days or nights outside on the deck. Basically if you only ever plan on knitting one cardigan-Bonfire is the one to knit! Have you knit a Bonfire? If you haven’t I suggest knitting your first one in a neutral color. (I say first one because after knitting and wearing this cardigan you will want one in every color!) I knit mine in a warm gray and it goes with everything!

(Because lets be honest not much else is going on at the moment!) I paired my Bonfire cardigan with this oversized tunic length tie dye long sleeve shirt. The Firecracker Combo color was too good to pass up, especially since my Arctic Berry Hat matched it so perfectly! Plus the shirt is the perfect length to wear with leggings! Speaking of leggings I have been on a mission of trying to find a dupe for my most favorite lululemon leggings. These aerie offline ones are pretty close. The fabric on them is slightly different but for less than $14 they’re as close as I’ve found! They also come in three different lengths! (I always get the “long”.) These Sorel boots were a Christmas present from my mum. I love Sorel boots/shoes! Living in Pittsburgh you never know what the weather is going to be like, and Sorel’s are perfect for anything the weather can throw at us. They are always comfortable and always warm-which is a must! I loved this style because its like a combo between a boot and a sneaker. I’ve been wearing them on our walks because they are way warmer than a normal sneaker, but just as comfortable.
