Casual Styles For Walking The Dogs

*Sadly the models refused to cooperate so they weren’t in the rest of the shoot.

My favorite SiL and I are showing off our Arctic Berry Hats. We styled our chunky knit beanies with some soft and cozy casuals for our dog walk. My brother and SiL have the cutest Frenchies and I was hoping they would join us in our photoshoot, but sadly they were not interested. They were only interested in their daddy who had the treats off camera lol! I knit Arctic Berry Hats for everyone for Christmas last year. I knit my SiL’s beanie in the same Wool and the Gang Crazy Sexy Wool as one of my samples. The color is called Ivory White and its the perfect creamy neutral to wear with everything!

My SiL paired her Arctic Berry Hat with some of her favorite Patagonia pieces. She layered her Patagonia Quilt Snap-T Pullover with her Patagonia Retro Pile vest to keep her warm. This sherpa vest is a nice layering piece and you could even wear it under your coat. She finished her look with stretchy skinny jeans and her Sperry winter duck boots.

I have been really into American Eagle and aerie this last year. Their pieces are so soft and cozy, and they’re affordable! Plus they always have great sales too! My SiL gifted me this printed fleece for Christmas. It is beyond soft! The fit is perfect for layering shirts underneath it so that you can almost wear it as an outerwear piece.  I paired it with my wardrobe staple denim shirt and my yellow check shacket. (Unfortunately my shacket is still sold out, but I found some similar options and linked them below in the “Shop the Post.”) I’m also wearing my aerie leggings that I blogged about here. I finished my look off with my super warm and weatherproof Sorel boots. We have gotten way more snow than we normally do and these boots have been on major repeat because they keep my feet dry and warm-2 things that are very important to me!

Over on Instagram I decided to participate in the Fiberuray Challenge. It’s a fun month long challenge created by @creativececi. I’m going to try and stick with it all month long. I might not be able to post on theme every day but that’s ok, because its meant to be fun! Are you participating in the challenge? If you haven’t joined you should check it out as its a great way to meet new people in our creative community!
