When I received an email about a new affordable & sustainably made clothing line I was shocked to see the email was from Walmart! I immediately clicked to check it out. Walmart’s new eco-clothing line Free Assembly is “committed to sustainability.” The denim is made using “mostly organic cotton” with “low water  impact” and manufactured in “LEED certified” facilities. While everything else in the Free Assembly line is produced “sustainably with responsible sourcing.” (Source for quotes was Walmart’s website.)

I decided to keep it simple and order a dress I fell in love with to see what the quality and fit were like before I committed to anything else. I am happy to report that I absolutely love the dress I ordered! The fit was TTS (true to size) and I was surprised with the quality of the piece. I didn’t know what to expect but the dress fabric is nice and flowy and not see through at all! I purchased the dress because of the beautiful floral print and the wearable and transitional color palette. This dress can easily be styled now for winter, worn for spring & summer, and then styled for fall! The floral print is also available in several different styles & I will link them all below. It’s such a beautiful floral print I love the colors; light pink, sage green, soft yellow, and the beautiful orangey rust background!

For today’s look I styled this dress how I would wear it during the cold winter months. I paired the Free Assembly babydoll style floral printed dress with a pair of soft pink tights that match perfectly! The soft pink tights were an Amazon find and are under $7! And to make sure my legs stayed warm I chose my cognac colored knee high Frye boots. Frye boots are more of an investment piece but they last forever and some of their styles are still made in the USA. This pair in particular I’ve had for years. I love how comfortable all my Frye boots are and they get better the more you wear them. Of course what winter outfit would be complete without a beanie??!! I opted to wear my Arctic Berry Hat in Ivory to complement the dress but not compete with it.
